Classic cartoonista – Inversion Incursion


Utah’s pollution-trapping inversions are one of the few drawbacks to living along the Wasatch Front. Here’s a cartoon I did in 2007 for the local newspaper. Since it was created, we’ve gone from the 6th dirtiest air in the nation to the worst. Usually, the inversions last a relatively short time, until a disrupting storm or wind comes in to break them up. Our current one has seemed to last a particularly long time this year, though; I really want to be able to see the mountains and the sun again instead of the Nothing
